Junior Courses (approx Grade 1-3)
There will be opportunities for all players to work in small ensembles, large orchestras and bands, and to be involved in improvising, singing and creative music making. There are places for all instruments (excluding piano/keyboard).  Senior Courses (approx Grade 4-7) These courses are suitable for secondary level pupils and offer the chance to work in a wide variety of musical styles, playing in ensembles of all sizes, and giving opportunities to develop individuals’ creative skills.  Pupils who have previously attended Intermediate and Senior courses, and the London Schools Concert Band should apply for these courses, which are often a springboard to the LSSO and LYWB.Pupils with an interest in jazz & popular music should also apply for these courses.This course is for secondary level pupils and offers a fantastic opportunity to develop creative skills. The course accommodates singers and instrumentalists of all kinds, including pupils writing their own original material. Please see the Diary page for all Course Dates. |
